If you have a touchpad laptop disable the touchpad and see if the problem persists. The driver should create a new icon for the touchpad. The stuff I’m working on is apparently way far down. Once I stop scrolling, there is a delay and then there it is again, coming in from the right and sliding off the left edge as usual. The horizontal scroll thumb traveled all the way to the right corner…and kept going! Using IE 9 (on the system shown to the left) and in certain forums, scrolling creates… %livelink1%

I have scanned my computer with multiple anti-virus programs but no luck. I’ve ruled out mouse-related problems–it’s not locking up or anything like that. Do a scan and save the HijackThis logfile. It took some doing, but I was able to recreate it with that as well.

Maybe it’s even timing-sensitive, like a race condition. (Obviously, I’m a programmer.) I’ll keep you posted in case I find a pattern. I had already worked with several similar shapes, so the actual thing I was doing is likely irrelevant. cheers chill chill, May 26, 2008 #8 von Bordwehr NI Product Owner Messages: 660 chill said: ↑ try this to confirm. If anyone else has the same issue, the new problem description would likely be more readily understood. its a bug for sure and needs to be reported but it sounds like its not something new. It saves a lot of hassle in looking to see what settings you’re currently using! 🙂 The specific BetterTouchTool shortcuts are probably irrelevant in and of themselves.

When I did the Zoom to Fit, I found my newly created artboard at the upper-left and my real artwork at the lower-right, and the latter was VERY tiny. %livelink3% You’ll find discussions about fixing problems with computer hardware, computer software, Windows, viruses, security, as well as networks and the Internet.Real-Time ActivityMy Tracked DiscussionsFAQsPoliciesModerators General discussion uncontrollable scrolling – not the The other account is … If one is compromised, are all of them?

Is there a way to update the title of this topic? The only app I have installed is Hulu, Zune, Windows Essentials 2012, Java and Silverlight. If not then you can copy your user profile files to the new profile and use that. I wasn’t able to reproduce it by following your instructions.

I have a midi knob mapped to scroll through tracks. Recently, though, I wasn’t zoomed in as much, and that helped me figure out more of what the behavior was doing. Btw, is that one of those metal scrollpads you just rub your finger on? I can’t see anything in the currently logged bugs either so ideally we would need a recipe to follow if you ever manage to work it out. Depending on the laptop manufacturer, the touchpad settings will include the option to disable the touchpad. Do not remove anything. I’ve seen this happen just by using a drop-down menu (such as the menu for setting the fill or stroke of a shape, but I can’t remember if that was it).

If it comes back, I’ll be back, and I’ll try the next guy’s suggestion. The touchpad settings should also appear in the “Mouse” settings in “Control Panel.” To get there, click “Start,” select “Control Panel,” and then choose “Mouse.” The new driver might well correct Depending of the driver (most Dells use Alps) the touchpad moght be disabled bu plugging in a USB mouse. That gives me an idea.
